While you’re likely to find Precision products in any application that requires high-quality magnetics, we focus on the following seven markets. Depending on customer requirements, we produce products that meet UL, CSA, VDE, and MIL-STD specifications.

Medical: Precision’s compact magnetics provide high reliability for power and communications in implantable or external medical devices. You’ll find Precision components in a wide range of medical applications, including: external and implantable defibrillators, kidney dialysis equipment, ablation therapy systems, sleep apnea equipment, RF programming devices, hearing aids, and a variety of diagnostic and testing equipment. We’re regularly involved in the development of new devices for invasive and non-invasive products.
Avionics: Lightweight, high-density Precision magnetics support mission-critical systems which must survive temperature and altitude extremes while delivering proven reliability. Precision components are used in cockpit controls and monitors, gyro systems, airport support systems (such as runway lighting and passenger jetways), missile guidance systems, and onboard systems involving critical and non-critical aircraft performance.
Telecom: Precision designs and builds reliable magnetics for continuous-duty performance in critical communications signaling, data, and power applications. Our devices are used in RF transmit/receive applications, base power supplies, modems, and switch gear.
HVAC: Precision magnetics with wide safety margins assure consistent environments for applications with extended temperature and humidity swings. Our HVAC customers use Precision components for remote sensing applications, variable speed drives, starters, control instrumentation, power distribution, and class II circuitry. Precision teams are regularly involved in the development of new devices for improved cost efficiencies and customer product performance.
Industrial Controls: Precision provides rugged magnetics that handle hostile industrial environments while delivering high MTBF in demanding 24/7 applications. Precision components are used in process monitoring and control, industrial power supplies, PWM controls, and motor controls. We’re constantly involved in the development of new devices for improved, cost-efficient functionality.
Electronic Instrumentation: Precision delivers magnetics with high accuracy, superior noise immunity, and wide bandwidth for precise measurement and instrumentation applications. We develop both highly customized, and tailored standard devices for component test equipment, current/voltage monitoring, and data communications.
Power Supplies: Standard and custom magnetics designs deliver high efficiency and unsurpassed reliability within tight tolerance/industry-standard footprints—all at the highest value.
